Our Preschool Programs

• For children ages 2.6 to 5 years old as of September 30th.
• Registration for the school year begins in March. Applications may be filed at any time; admission on a first-come, first served basis.
• Financial aid available.
• Choice of morning programs (9am – 12pm) or full day (9am to 3pm) five days a week.
• Early drop off available starting at 8 am.
• School year runs from early September through mid-June.
• Summer program available for July and August.

Roosevelt Island Day Nursery has expanded to include infants and toddlers.

Infant and Toddler Programs at Riverwalk Crossing

RIDN at Riverwalk Crossing offers high quality early care and education for children starting at 3 months of age.

The new site at 405 Main Street will be open from 8am to 6pm, with options to attend 2, 3, or 5 days a week.  Children may continue through their preschool years at our site at 4 River Road.

The programs for our youngest children are designed to support development in a nurturing and responsive environment.

Guided by experienced and professional educators, children are given the opportunity to explore the world around them.

At their own pace, they will be encouraged to develop new skills as they learn and grow physically, socially and cognitively.
